This is regarding the message by the Foreign Ministry of China discouraging travels to Japan.

Despite the recent escalation of words among politicians and in some social media, people in Okinawa are peace seeking and welcoming to international visitors including those from China. This is because people are acquainted with the history of the tragic war in Okinawa and tourism is the major industry in Okinawa. No incidents of aggression to Chinese people have been reported.
