Visa Information

Nationals of certain countries may be required to obtain a VISA to enter Japan. Please check the Visa Application Procedures for short-term stay on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan’s website.

For visa inquiries, please contact the “Foreign Residents Support Center (FRESC) MOFA Visa Information” or the “Japan Visa Information Hotline” listed on the website of the Embassy/Consulate-General/Consular Office of Japan.

ICONIP 2025 will issue an invitation letter required for visa application free of charge only to participants who have completed both registration and payment. If you require an invitation letter along with other supporting documents, a processing fee of 5,000 JPY will be charged.
Application instructions will be provided on the “My Page” of the registration form. The registration site will be opened in mid-June. Please check there for details.
If your visa application is rejected, ICONIP 2025 cannot influence the decision.
